eLumen

The college has adopted a web-based software program called eLumen to help us manage the process of collecting and analyzing assessment data. ELumen was specifically designed with assessment of student learning in mind and is organized according to our programs, goals, and student learning outcomes.

Once an assessment is set up for a particular area, data can be entered by following these steps:

  1. Log in to https://arcc.elumenapp.com/arcc/ using your eLumen User ID and Password (available from Jennifer Hennen in the Office of Institutional Effectiveness).
  2. Your most recent semester of classes will appear when you log in. To switch between terms, use the dropdown menu on the left underneath your name, and switch between departments with the dropdown menu in the upper right corner of the page.
  3. Select a section and assessment and click on one of the Scorecard icons. “Scorecard view” shows all students on one screen and “Rubric” view shows one student per screen.
  4. Enter assessment data by clicking on the appropriate scores. Entries are saved automatically.
  5. To use the “Import Scores” function, please contact your department assessment representative.
